Curious Who's Visiting Me

A couple of weeks ago I got one of those Feedjit widget things that tracks when and from where there are visitors to the blog. It's interesting to watch. I don't have a lot of traffic, which I knew, but I am curious as to who some of the visitors are. I know who is visiting from RI--Hello, Karen; from Seoul--Hello, Carolyne; from the Phillipines--Hello, Rovie; from Kentucky, Hello, Uncle Al; from Washington, Hello, Mel and Josh and from FL, Hello, Katie. There are a couple that have me wondering though. Albuquerque, NM, is one. There are several people I know in NM but I am curious as to who it might be. Please check in and let me know. You're a regular visitor and it would be nice to know which of the NM people I know is stopping in. Another place that has shown up once or twice is Latrobe, PA. I have relatives in PA but as far as I know, nobody in the Latrobe area. If you see this, please check in and let me know who you are. I'd love to know if I have cousins stopping in. It would make me very happy--and VERY surprised.

Nothing of note going on in our corner of the world, other than curiosity as to who is visiting here. I hope everyone is having a nice week in their corner of the world.

Hey, Wilma, I should tell you that sometimes I also check in from San Francisco! We have a vpn (virtual private network) that routs thru the US so that we can watch Netflix and Hulu and get access to certain websites that are only accessible from the US - I don't usually use it because it's annoying and not as fast as our Korean server, but sometimes I'm logged in when I'm 'visiting' you.

Hey, thanks for letting me know. I had actually wondered about that because I saw a SF check-in the other day and you had left a comment. I thought maybe you had phone service from the US or something. I was close. LOL

I "met" you in the parents of only children or only child group years ago. I used the name Rose, instead of my real name, Sherry. I am 45 and have a 16-year-old daughter.

just a suggestion, to increase your traffic you might want to consider registering at adgitize.com..

there is a link in my main blog http://roviebren.blogspot.com in the upper part which says advertise your blog ( in blue color), you can click that and register for free and if you want to increase your traffic all the more you can advertise with them.it worked for me...

i would be more willing to help if you need any... see yah!

Thanks for stopping in, Rovie. Thanks for the tips too. I'll have to look at that and see how it works.

You have someone else besides me visiting from Washington. The Seattle person is running Linux and Safari browser, I have neither. I should show up as Kennewick or Richland, most likely.

Checking in from RI...even though you know who I am. Tomorrow is Friday and today was my first day with reduced students in my new classroom. It was like the first day of school, deja vu version. Still lots of adjustments to make but a whole lot better than before! 2 were even absent so I only had 5! I actually got to interact with the kids for a change.

I'm from Taos, NM and I "know" you from the Killilea board.

Hi, Mel! I'm pretty sure the Seattle person is Josh. You showed up as Kennewick today.

Hi, Beth! Thanks for stopping by. Good to see you. It's been awhile since I've seen you on KFans but you were one of my suspects for NM. *grin*

Glad to hear from you, Karen! It's great that things are going better in your classroom. I bet your students will be happier now too. 13 or 14 is WAY too many in a class, even with 3 adults. It truly can't be done successfully, IMHO.

Hey Wilma it looks like it says I am from Defuniak Springs which is actually about 2 hours from lol. So you might have a second FL person checking in.

I'm still here, Rovie. Thanks for checking on me. Just going through a patch where I don't feel like writing. I should write something maybe over the weekend. :)
